Scheduled triggers

Reference only. Project progress and credentials come from assessed work.

Builder can create a scheduled trigger with a cron expression and timezone. The trigger can start the worker with an agent prompt or invoke a specific workflow with inputs.

Before scheduling

Confirm:

  • the workflow is active when a workflow is used,
  • required variables have values,
  • credentials are valid,
  • the schedule and timezone are correct,
  • duplicate-run behavior is understood,
  • a human owns failures and output review.

Current controls

The reviewed Builder tools support listing scheduled triggers, creating one, toggling it and deleting it. Use those controls to pause automation without deleting the worker.

Launch sequence

  1. Pass representative tests.
  2. Create the schedule disabled if the interface supports that path, or disable it immediately after creation.
  3. Review the saved trigger details.
  4. Enable it for a monitored first run.
  5. Inspect the result and failure path.
  6. Keep, adjust or pause it based on evidence.
